October 3, 2025 – NEW YORK, New York – Dispatch Energy (“Dispatch” or the “Company”), a leading developer and investor in distributed energy and energy transition infrastructure, today announced several significant leadership appointments as the Company enters its next phase of strategic growth. These appointments follow Dispatch’s closing of $160 million of new equity capital from Terramont Infrastructure Partners and Hamilton Lane in June of this year, bringing the Company’s total capital raised to date to approximately $370 million.
Christopher Rittenhouse, who has been instrumental in shaping Dispatch’s investment strategy, has been promoted to Chief Investment Officer. In his new role, Rittenhouse will lead the Company’s capital deployment efforts and oversee investment strategy across Dispatch’s growing portfolio of distributed generation, solar, storage, and other energy transition assets.
Christopher Lowe, previously serving as interim Chief Financial Officer, will transition to the role of Chairman, where he will provide strategic guidance and oversight to the Company’s board and executive team.
Dispatch also announced three new senior appointments:

Martin Toulouse (LinkedIn) joins Dispatch as General Counsel and a member of the Company’s Investment Committee. Toulouse brings over 25 years of experience as a legal advisor with a deep background in financing new technologies and investments in energy infrastructure. Most recently, he served as Deputy Chief Counsel at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Loan Programs Office (LPO), where he partnered with private and public companies across conventional power generation, distributed generation and storage, and other energy transition technologies. At Dispatch, Toulouse will lead corporate governance, compliance, and contracts, helping to further institutionalize the Company’s legal and transactional framework.

Michael Smith (LinkedIn) has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and will also serve on the Investment Committee. Smith most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Guzman Energy and has held senior finance positions in the energy industry since beginning his career at GE Energy Financial Services. He brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience, with deep expertise in capital markets, corporate finance, and scaling high-growth businesses.

Candice Michalowicz (LinkedIn) joins Dispatch’s Investment Committee as a Senior Advisor and member of the Board. Michalowicz is a 15-year veteran of the renewable energy industry, including serving as co-founder and Managing Partner of C2 Energy Capital. Following C2’s sale of the majority of its asset holdings to EDPR in 2021, she served as Chief Operating Officer of EDPR NA Distributed Generation (formerly C2 Omega). Her extensive experience in renewable energy investment, operations, and corporate leadership will provide valuable insight and oversight as Dispatch accelerates its growth trajectory.
“These appointments reflect the exceptional depth of talent on our team and the confidence we have in our leadership as we scale the development and deployment of distributed generation assets,” said Richard Dovere, Chief Executive Officer of Dispatch Energy. “Christopher Rittenhouse has consistently demonstrated outstanding judgment and vision in leading our investment activities. Christopher Lowe’s leadership as Chairman will be critical as we continue to build a best-in-class platform. With Martin, Michael, and Candice joining the executive team and our Investment Committee, we are further strengthening our governance, legal, financial, and operational capabilities to deliver long-term value to our partners and stakeholders.”
